Rainmaker Development Program ™

The ability to develop business is a skill that most firms seek in their future leaders. It is also the one area where professionals feel most uncomfortable. If you or other professionals in your firm wish to become better business developers, consider enrolling in our Rainmaker Development Program ™ (RDP). This six-month program provides a mix of learning and "real life" experiential activities to build real skills in personal marketing and business development.

Our RDP is limited to twelve participants who engage in six virtual roundtables, with video cameras deployed, on buildable topics related to critical personal marketing and business development concepts. Between roundtables, RDP participants will be tasked to complete assignments, reporting their progress by a specific date. In each subsequent roundtable, we discuss challenges and successes, learn the material for the next concept and agree on a new assignment to facilitate real learning and progress.

The dates and topics for our 2019 RDP include the following:

  • Roundtable 1: Developing as a Rainmaker Monday, May 6, 2019 from 2pm - 4pm CT
  • Roundtable 2: Making a Bigger Difference for Your Clients Monday, June 10, 2019 from 2pm - 4pm CT
  • Roundtable 3: Building Your Sphere of Influence Monday, July 22,2019 from 2pm - 4pm CT
  • Roundtable 4: Qualifying Opportunities for Success Monday, August 19, 2019 2pm - 4pm CT
  • Roundtable 5: Sales Strategies to Close More Business Monday, September 30, 2019 from 2pm - 4pm CT
  • Roundtable 6: Furthering Your Target Accounts and Building Thought Leadership Monday, November 11, 2019 from 2pm - 4pm CT

When the program ends, participants will have gained tactical strategies for developing and closing new business for their firm and ways to boost their personal marketing and thought leadership as a result. 

If you have a group of up to twelve individuals from your firm who are interested in building these skills, consider engaging ConvergenceCoaching to facilitate a private program. Private programs can be customized to fit the needs and unique business development strategy of your firm.
