We all encounter professional conflict whether with clients, vendors, co-workers, staff or competitors - and our professional lives are filled with opportunities to manage upsets, disappointments, and hurt feelings. That's why we have developed this course to provide you an opportunity to explore your current conflict management techniques and to learn new strategies for managing difficult conversations with confidence and in a collaborative manner that allows you to retain the integrity of your relationships with others.

During this course you will have the opportunity to develop your conflict management skills as we work to achieve 14 specific learning objectives by covering two specific segments: Approaches to Conflict and the Eight-Step Conflict Methodology. Some of the learning objectives are to enable you to:

• Identify the benefits of conflict in the workplace
• Recognize the definition of triangulation and identify behaviors that spawn triangles
• Recognize the eight steps of our conflict methodology
• Recognize ways to powerfully set up your meeting with your conflict partner
